Always the first to try ANYTHING! This outgoing tiny girl is very adventurous and enjoys new experiences. We often look at each other and say " Where's Rosie?" we have found her in the toy basket, up the stairs before anyone else and standing on top of her crate!

WOW.. what a difference a day makes! Now that I am out of the shelter you can get a real sense of my personality. Sure I am a bit shy... but if you were dumped off at at shelter because your family was moving you would be a bit weary too! But now that I am in a foster home, I have settled in just fine. I love my foster mamma and papa. I am still hesitant to play with the other dogs in the house, but time will tell if I ease up on that and relax.

I would love a quiet home where walks and snuggling is what is on the agenda. I am a skinny boy- but will soon fatten up! I should be around 10 lbs when I am at a normal weigh for me. I am also housetrained.

I hope we can meet soon, because now that I know its all about trust and love, I want to open my paws to you!

Katie is sweet little pup who just wants somebody to love her. She adjusts quickly to new people and wiggles her way into hearts with her enthusiasm and puppy love. She gets along with other dogs and is quick to learn new skills like walking on a leash and waiting for her turn to eat. She loves to run through the house or yard with her toys or with her doggy friends and cracks her foster mom up when she lays on her back and puts her front paws behind her head.

Katie is a sensitive girl so any correction with her has to be done quietly. She is still working on potty training but is coming along well. She loves to be around other dogs around her size and does well with teens (she sleeps with a teen boy at her foster home) and women but can be a bit shy around men. Katie will be a joy to any family lucky enough to welcome her into their home.

Once this beautiful shiny baby bonds with you, it is strong. He loves to cuddle, and at times can be a bit clingy. Lego is unsure with brand new people and can get a little scared. Once he knows you, as he does his foster Mom, he loves totally.

He will not be a good apartment dog, because when you come home from work or, he has a very high pitch bark in his total excitement of seeing his person.

He walks well on a leash, he will be a lovely companion...and anyone who knows and understands doxies will adore him.

Zoe

Zoe is a constant and loving companion to other dogs and her people. She loves people and wants to interact, be petted and played with. She loves the beach and running along trails in the forest.

Zoe will sleep until noon, or up at the crack of dawn if that is what you prefer, whatever makes you happy will make her happy. Zoe can be a bit nervous meeting new people, but as long as they approach her slowly and gently she is fine.

Zoe can be a bit of a watchdog and will bark if someone approaches the house. She is excellent on a leash, and responds to stop, down, sit, stay and always comes when called.

She has a bit of a sensitive tummy, so should not be allowed rawhide, pigs ears etc. as they will make her sick.

Luki is good with strangers, other dogs and is an all around great dog.

My mom couldn’t keep me so now I am looking for my forever home. Everyone who meets me thinks I am cute and sweet as a pea. I am definitely a puppy and all I want to do is play. I love playing with other pooches and would be so happy if I had a brother or sister to chase and play with. My foster sister sometimes gets mad at me because I won’t stop asking her to play with me.

I am a good boy but because I am a puppy I still have a lot learn. I would love to go to school and learn basic obedience or agility. I am a very happy and easy going boy. I love going for walks but need work on good leash behavior.

Being a puppy I have a lot of energy. If I play with another puppy like my best friend “Bones” or go for a long walk I will curl up next to you on the couch and have a nice long nap.

This adorable girl was found as a stray by our local animal control. She was very scared at the shelter and desperately needed a foster home.

It has taken her a few days to settle in but she is warming up well to her foster mom. Still pretty nervous around her foster dad... but getting better every day.

She is living with both big and small dogs and accepting them well, although not playing yet.. but we have high hopes.

She has some hair loss due to a flea infestation but now that she is all clean, her fur is growing back, and her overall coat appearance in getting better.

Izzy will need a quiet home, hopefully with other dogs to help her confidence.

Signing her up for a reward based training class in your area will be required for her adoption. She needs to build her confidence thru learning skills, games and obedience.

Thankfully Inca's family was found, and she has been happily reunited with them.

George is a great dog who loves people and gets alone well with other dogs. George has been obedience trained and crate trained but he needs a few reminders as his training has not been followed through with. He loves car rides and exploring in the yard where in a true Beagle fashion he explores everything with his nose. George loves walks (though he does tend to pull on the leash).

George lost his home as his family found they did not have time for him with a new baby. George likes children but he is a strong boy and will do best with older school age children or teens. George is an active dog and needs a home where he can get some exercise either in a fenced yard or with long walks or runs. He has been losing weight in his foster home running in the yard and playing with other dogs and he would love to have a doggy brother or sister to play with.

George is a wonderful boy who really wants to belong to a family. He listens well and loves to cuddle on your lap or bed or at your feet. He will be a wonderful addition to the family who can commit to him.

George is happily now a trucking doggie, going with his Dad everywhere, he is residing in Vancouver, B.C. Canada

Jack has the perfect Chihuahua personality. He is a lively little
fellow, and he happily prances around the house keeping track of his
chosen person. He also feels it's necessary to keep your house premises
secured of any invaders. You'll know someone is at the door long before
the doorbell rings. Sometimes he takes his "security" job a little to
seriously and he'll need a gentle "No" to remind him that his excessive
drama isn't necessary. He loves to cuddle, go on car rides or anywhere
his special person goes.

He likes having doggy friends and fits well into a small dog group. He enjoys his baths, is coming along well with
housebreaking, and likes his sweaters during cold weather.

Jackson is a Mommy's boy; he is not able to bond with a man and would really prefer a home with only women. Jackson isn't trusting of strangers, and he will take his time getting to know you. He doesn't want any pressure during this process, however a "treat" now and again helps. Once he deems you safe and worthy of his devotion he is all YOURS! Jack is looking for a Mommy (or two) to spend the rest of his life adoring.
